A popular destination for tourists and day-trippers is the Kraaijenberg Lakes, a water sports area of approximately 400 hectares. The lakes were created as a result of sand and gravel extraction. Around the lakes is a beautiful nature area, ideally suited for cyclists and walkers.

There is a large beach, with rowing and surfing facilities and there are plenty of opportunities to sail and row or to make fun trips with a canoe along the nature around the Kraaijenberg Lakes.

Near Linden is a marina (also a guest harbor) with more than 200 berths. Of course, the lakes also offer plenty of fishing opportunities.
