Van der Valk Hotel Cuijk - Nijmegen stands for atmosphere, comfort, and hospitality. Our hotel is ideally located along the A73, on the outskirts of Nijmegen, not far from the cities of Kleve (Germany) and Venlo, where the three provinces of Gelderland, North Brabant, and Limburg meet. Our hotel is also only a 20-minute drive from Weeze Airport. Therefore, we offer an ideal base for a versatile visit. In the central lobby of the hotel, we have a Tourist Meeting Point (TOP) where you can find information about the Land van Cuijk.

History

In 1939, Martien and Rie van der Valk started a restaurant together in Voorschoten. Through hard work and a welcoming, homely approach, their own business became a success. In the years following the Second World War, they, along with their 11 children, built a number of restaurants. Today, the company has been expanded by their grandchildren and great-grandchildren to become the largest hospitality group in the Netherlands, with 56 establishments and an additional 25 hotels in countries around the world. The vision of hospitality held by Martien and Rie still forms the basis of the successful "Van der Valk formula". Their mindset and entrepreneurial spirit serve as an example for younger generations of "Valks".
